What Do You WANT? — The Power of Well-formed Outcomes And Goals

At the recent seminar I went to, Doc did a knife demo as an isomorphic metaphor for psychic attack. He said the only way you could learn how to defend against a psychic attack was to first understand how to do a psychic attack, just like the only way you can effectively defend against a knife is to first know how to attack with a knife.

You got to know how to use the tools and how they work in order to defend against them. How do you defend against a handgun? One way is to get out of effective range and counter-attack with a shotgun, carbine, or rifle.

You still have to be able to hit your target.

So Doc was demonstrating different knife targets on various body parts. One “target” is fairly harmless, while the other one would result in death within 7 seconds, even though both targets are on different sides of the same body part.

Most people don’t know their target, don’t know their outcome, so they get piss poor results. You got to know what your outcome is. Then you got to know the targets or steps on how to get there.

So you got to be aware, and you got to plan!

Remember the 7 P’s: “Proper, prior planning prevents piss poor performance.”
