The Day I almost died

6 years ago I was driving down the back roads of oregon on what we
call "kiss my ass corners." The reason we call them "kiss my ass
corners" is that the corners are so sharp you literally think you could
kiss your own ass.

It was a warm summer day about 98 degrees and it was just perfect day to hop on to my brand new r6 Yamaha.

Now this isn’t your normal Crotch Rocket.

I bought this from a guy who put $3,000.00 racing tires on it,
$2,000 Exhaust, Had it turbo charged through some crazy electronic chip
and does 0-60 in under 4 seconds.

This baby EASILY went over over a 100mph and it felt like it was just trotting.

Now I’ve been riding motorcycles since i was about 4 years old (on and off the road) I am basically a motorcycle junky.

So I am out on these kiss my ass corners and weaving in out, I
naturally start using our "Z-Fold" while driving so that I can hook up
to my Motorcycle and Feel as one. (if you don’t drive using Z-fold your
missing out)

I instantly use "hakaulau" while I drive.

I can literally see the bugs flying at me in somewhat of a slow
motion so i have enough time to bob & weave the 105mph Bee Bullet
flying at my face.

The Kiss My Ass Corners stop and I see a straight shot about 6 football fields long and there’s not a car insight.

I start thinking to myself (lets see what this baby can do).

I down shift and gun it.

My front end starts to come off the ground from all the torque this guy is putting out.

I change gears and instantly gain another 15mph.

I am at 125mph and I feel something inside.

Its a not a good feeling, its a "watch the $uck Out feeling"

I start to notice this ‘feeling’ isn’t coming from inside me BUT its
coming outside.. It feel like its coming from about 11 O’clock

I notice there’s a tiny intersection ahead about a mile up, yet I
can’t see what’s to the left or right because the intersection is
covered by giant 100ft Oak Trees.

I let off the gas and I am now coasting at 92mph and I still fill this sensation coming at me from the left.

I start to put the brakes down and I can barely see the the tip of the intersection…

I notice the crossing intersection have stop signs and I don’t.

I start to feel okay because I know IF there was anyone they have to stop, its a stop sign of course.

I am now doing about 45 mph (the speed limit)

I start to cross the intersection.

I can see the right is clear.

I look to my left and i go ‘$UCKKKKK’

a 1-Ton Blue Chevy Pickup runs the stop sign and pulls out so slow it takes up both sides of the road so I can’t pass it.

I look to see how far the ditch goes down to see if I can dodge that route…

Its a no go, the ditch drops 5-6 feet easily.

So I SLAM on my breaks and my motorcycle starts to fish tail to my left side. (this has never happened before)

I instantly go deeper into my Z-Fold for extreme balance.

My Motorcycle is fish tailing so much to the left My back tire is now perpendicular with the front tire.

I go from 45 mph to a dead stop in about 1.3 seconds.

My feet never touch the ground because of my (Z-Fold) balance

and I ended up dodging the 1-Ton pickup by about 3 inches.

(The dude never even noticed me)

I immediately am enraged at the a$$ whole who almost killed me.

So I slam on the gas and Drive right up next to him and even though
I feel like pulling him over and smacking some since into him I ‘relax’
and realizes people do $uck up.

So I just flip him off and drive on.
